Official Windows installer

This is the Inno Setup package for re82r Optimizer. It is not a browser app and not a debug build. The website does not simulate download progress.

System requirements

• Windows 10 version 2004 or later, or Windows 11
• 64-bit (x64) PC
• Administrator rights to run Setup
• Self-contained client — the .NET SDK is not required to run the installed app.

Installation

1. 1

   Run Setup as administrator

   Launch re82r Optimizer Setup.exe. Setup requires administrator privileges and uses a setup mutex so two installers cannot run at once.

2. 2

   Welcome

   The wizard title is re82r Optimizer Setup. Close other applications before continuing. Settings under Local AppData are kept when you upgrade.

3. 3

   License

   Read and accept the End User License Agreement shown by the wizard (the same terms published on this site).

4. 4

   Install location

   The default folder is Program Files\re82r Optimizer. Previous install location is reused when you upgrade.

5. 5

   Shortcuts

   You can create a Desktop shortcut and a Start Menu shortcut. Both are offered once and remembered on later upgrades.

6. 6

   Finish

   Setup copies re82r-Optimizer-x64.exe and supporting files, then offers to launch re82r Optimizer. Click Finish to exit Setup.

Uninstall

Uninstall removes re82r Optimizer from Program Files and the shortcuts created by Setup. Backups, logs, and local history under %LocalAppData%\re82r\Optimizer are kept unless you delete that folder yourself.
